The government roadmap places restrictions on the size and composition of parties that we can accept. Currently, we can only accept parties of no more than 6 persons or all of whose members belong to 2 households. We hope to be fully open from 19 July.
Please note that Bawd Hall benefits from superfast (FTTP) internet which can be of enormous benefit at the current time. While we can never guarantee availability, it has been reliably fast since installation.
Bawd Hall is the ideal base for a cycling holiday. The Lake District contains many recognised cycle routes and Lake District cycling holidays are becoming an increasingly popular way to experience the dramatic landscape:
The most famous cycle route is the C2C or coast to coast. The route travels through the northern Lake District close to Bawd Hall and over the Pennines. C2C is not a clearly marked cycle route but employs roads, old railways, and bridle paths combined with unspoilt hills and countryside to provide a truly exhilarating cycling experience.
